How to turn your old PC into a new Chromebook using Chrome OS Flex

It was once your primary machine. But now, because it isn't compatible with the most recent version of Windows, it lies in a drawer. You can transform your old notebook or desktop into a Chromebook by installing Google's Chrome OS Flex operating system. You can save money by upgrading your old computer to be more efficient at web browsing, streaming and editing content in cloud.

Google Chrome OS is not the right place for heavy computing tasks, or for popular games releases. However, it provides a solid platform for learning and work. You can stream games via Steam or Xbox Cloud. CircuitPython allows us to learn how to program and build electronic projects.

Google has released Chrome OS Flex, a similar operating system to the one used on Chrome devices. Chrome OS Flex can be used to simply open a Chrome browser and access Google's cloud services. This OS can also be used on non-Google devices. Old hardware can be reused to teach children, work with adults, or entertain families.

This is how we will breathe new life into an Intel 4th Gen-based PC with Chrome OS Flex and zero dollar outlay.
